Where Christmas Begins: A Manor House Tradition
29th October 2026
There’s a moment every year when Christmas truly begins at Manor House Lindley. For us, it’s the return of our much-loved Christmas Artisan Fayre.
As November draws to a close, the House begins its festive transformation. The decorations go up, thousands of twinkling lights illuminate the gardens, and that familiar excitement of Christmas starts to fill the air.
Over the years, our Artisan Fayre has become a tradition that we genuinely look forward to. It’s an opportunity to open our doors, bring our local community together and celebrate the beginning of the festive season with the people who make Manor House such a special place.
We love seeing familiar faces return year after year, welcoming new visitors discovering the House for the first time, and watching our beautiful spaces come alive with independent makers, thoughtful gifts and delicious seasonal treats.
For us, it’s about so much more than Christmas shopping. It’s about supporting local businesses, spending time together and enjoying that wonderful sense of anticipation that comes with the start of the festive season.
And perhaps that’s what we love most. Christmas at Manor House doesn’t begin with a party or a celebration behind closed doors. It begins with all of you.
This year, our Christmas Artisan Fayre returns on Sunday 29th November, from 11am to 3pm, with free admission and a warm welcome for everyone.
We can’t think of a better way to begin another wonderful Christmas at Manor House, and we hope you’ll join us to celebrate.
