In our wedding venue, The Coach House, this is showcased through the commissioned work of British artist and wallpaper designer Diane Hill.

We were delighted to invite Diane to design and create this space, recognising her as one of the UK’s leading decorative artists. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Livingetc and ELLE Decoration, placing her firmly among the most respected names in contemporary interior design. Her involvement in our Coach House venue was a deliberate investment in artistry and craftsmanship, ensuring a finish that is not only beautiful but of the highest quality.

An Exceptional Level of Craftsmanship

Diane Hill is known for her contemporary interpretation of chinoiserie, creating intricate designs that are entirely hand-painted. Each element begins as an original artwork, carefully composed and painted over many hours before being translated into large-scale wallcoverings.

Her work is defined by precision and detail from the fine brushwork of individual feathers to the layering of blossom and foliage.

A Distinctive Interior

In The Coach House, the walls are adorned with birds, butterflies and blossom, forming a cohesive and visually striking scheme. Every detail reflects Diane’s hand and eye the balance of composition, the movement within the design, and the considered use of colour.
