Does the price differ for packages throughout the year?

Weekends and Saturdays during Spring and Summer are the most popular choice for weddings and the dates can be booked up well over a year in advance. We do offer a slight discount for “out of season” months and also a substantial discount for a midweek wedding. Please speak to our team for more details.

How many guests can The Coach House accomodate?

For a sit-down wedding reception, The Coach House can accommodate comfortably 140 (we have hosted 150 previously). For an evening party, the maximum is 200 guests, however this may reduce slightly depending upon other items being factored into the space and of course space required for dancing!

Would it be possible to have our wedding ceremony at Manor House Lindley?

Yes, absolutely! Having your ceremony in the same place as your reception has huge benefits, as you can use the same flowers and decorations and you won’t need transport nor will your guests! We have several areas of the hotel that are licensed for a civil ceremony, with the Coach House being our most popular for the larger wedding.

WHAT TIME WILL THE BAR CLOSE?

We call last orders at midnight with the bar then closing at 12.30am.  Most guests will usually leave the Coach House by 1.00am. Any residents wishing to have a nightcap in The Clock Tower Bar before bed can do so, but this is only available to residents staying at Manor House Lindley.

WILL YOU BE HOSTING ANY OTHER WEDDINGS AT THE SAME TIME AS OURS?

Please be assured, at Manor House Lindley we only ever have one wedding in a day. Our aim is to devote all our attentions to you, to give you the best day and help create those special memories!

WHAT TIME WOULD WE BE ABLE TO START SETTING UP FOR THE WEDDING?

If there isn’t a wedding being held at Manor House the day before, we would be setting up for your day late afternoon. If there is a wedding the day before, our team will be working through the early hours to turn the rooms around and set for your day. We are a 24-hour operation so any suppliers are able to come in as early as they need to, on the morning of the wedding. Our team will be on hand every step of the way.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS OR GUIDELINES FOR DECORATIONS?

We are more than happy for additional decorations being brought in for your day. We kindly ask that any ideas are discussed with our team to ensure specific requests can be accommodated.  We are happy for our couples to have real candles as part of their day – they are so romantic!  We do kindly ask that confetti or petals are not thrown. This is purely as Manor House often has several weddings one day after another and we want to ensure that the grounds are perfectly clean and tidy for all our guests to enjoy. There are some great alternatives such as bubbles and streamers which can be really effective in photography.

ARE THE TABLECLOTHS, CHAIRS, CUTLERY AND GLASSES PROVIDED OR DO WE NEED TO HIRE OUR OWN?

We have our own chairs, tables and crisp white table linen which is included in the package, along with all our beautiful white china, cutlery and glassware. If you choose to introduce coloured table linen, we would be happy to look at pricing for this with you.

HOW MANY GUESTS ARE SEATED AT A TABLE?

Our tables are 5ft rounds which comfortably seat 8 guests, but absolutely can seat 10. We do have two 6ft rounds that can comfortably seat 10 guests but can seat 12. Our team will help you every step of the way with your table plan and rooms layouts.

DO YOU ALLOW EXTERNAL CATERERS?

Unfortunately, we don’t allow external catering – we have an amazing team of chefs at Manor House Lindley and an extensive choice of menus for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. If there is anything specific regarding your menus that you would like to discuss, we’d be more than happy to talk through your ideas with you.

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL? IF SO, WHAT CORKAGE DO YOU CHARGE?

Unfortunately, this is not something we offer. We do have an amazing range of sparkling wines, champagnes and an extensive wine list and of course, some of our packages have drinks packages included.

DO YOU HAVE THE OPTION FOR A PAID BAR?

You may want your guests to pay for their own drinks on your Wedding Day (and why not after all of your generous hospitality?!) With the Extraordinary Package, your guests are very well looked after with the drinks that are included in this package. However, if you wanted to set up a drinks tab for your guests, we can work with you on this; you may wish to add a set amount behind the bar, or you may want to just offer certain drinks (e.g. glasses of wine and bottles of beer) – we are happy to chat through options with you.

CAN THIS VENUE ACCOMMODATE A BAND OR DJ, INCLUDING ALL OF THEIR EQUIPMENT?

There is absolutely space for a DJ and / or band and we can liaise directly with them regarding their requirements such as space, set up time, electrical requirements etc. We shall also liaise with them regarding PAT Testing and PLI – you can leave all of that to our Weddings Team! We do also have our own resident DJ – please do let us know if you would like more information.

DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?

We have a portable ramp to enable access into The Coach House (there are just a couple of low steps in) and there are accessible toilets within the venue.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO PAY OUR HOLDING DEPOSIT AND WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS?

We can hold a date for a maximum of 2 weeks and this allows you plenty of time to check the availability of registrars/church. One confirmed, we would kindly ask for the deposit of £1,500 to be paid.   The next payment would be 50% of the contracted balance 4 months prior to the wedding, and the final payment would be due 6 weeks before the date of the wedding, based on your final numbers.

WOULD THERE BE A VENUE COORDINATOR AVAILABLE ON THE DAY?

We’d like to think we play a big part of your wedding journey!! We absolutely will be here on the day along with our Operational Manager who you will also get to know on the lead up to your big day!

IS VAT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Our prices are inclusive of VAT.

ARE FIREWORKS ALLOWED AT MANOR HOUSE LINDLEY?

Unfortunately, due to Manor House being close to residential properties, we are not able to allow fireworks.

IS THERE A PLACE NEARBY WHERE WE AND OUR GUESTS COULD STAY OVERNIGHT? OR CAN THE VENUE ACCOMMODATE?

Manor House Lindley is a beautiful 10 bedroomed boutique hotel. We are able to offer our Bride two bedrooms the night before (subject to availability). The two rooms also have a small private lounge area which is ideal for getting ready on the morning of your wedding, with a dressing table and full-length mirror, which is perfect for hair and make-up. We work closely with our couples to allocate bedrooms to family & friends for the night of the wedding. There are also a number of hotels and other accommodation close by (some within walking distance of Manor House Lindley). Please speak to our Team for more details.

DOES MANOR HOUSE HAVE ANY FAMILY ROOMS?

We do not have specific family rooms, however we are able to add a “put-up bed” into one of our a bedrooms. Due to fire regulations, we are only able to add one put up bed into one of the rooms per night, across the hotel. We do also have a travel cot.

WHAT TIME CAN GUESTS CHECK-IN AND WHAT IS THE CHECK-OUT TIME?

Guests can check in from 3.00pm and check out is by 11.00am.
